Used properly the F-35B does need any missiles to take down the entire OPFOR airspace it can turn and gain airspeed something that no OPFOR aircraft can do.

MWS is helpful because most human beings don't have eyes in the back of their head.

MEH I DONT AGREEE WITH ALOT OF THESE CHANGES AS MUCH AS I DONT AGREE WITH WAT WRAITH DID TO THE PREVIOUS MISSION.

U GUYS CAN EDIT THE MISSION AS MUCH AS U LIKE YOU HAVE KILLED IT FOR ME.

WITH 0.71 IT WAS FAIR AND BALANCED B4, NOW ITS TO THE POINT OF STUPID REDICULOUS!

I just found some time at about 1am on a Friday morning to test out the trackir a bit, so nobody is on the server that's ok i'll just set up the ai with low squad numbers and have a bit of fun by myself.
But no that's not possible anymore,I have had choices taken away from me that allowed such a thing.
I don't care what you do to your tailor made freeborne approved missions as long as you mark them on the server and provide the default original benny approved warfare beside it so i can choose what i want to play when you're not here, this was done for xerxes missions and placids, just call it warfare balanced or whatever if your scared to put your name to it.
I would be fine if all these settings were just default and i could change them but they're not and that's not good enough.
Give me my freedom to choose back.

i'm not comfortable with this dumming down option either.as a long time blufor player i must say i have had many moments of great despair at blufors pathetic AA all i want is sidewinders and better radar on all avengers and defence AA. stingers are useless and frankly very annoying.as with base assets what really frustrates me and pisses me off is how useless is defence AI that is a major problem that never will be addressed i fear if this could be fixed that would make it harder for base-hunters to just stroll in.if these issues were fixed i beleive players would see the benefits straight away. :wink:

1. I'm not dumbing down Warfare, but making it more challenging.
2. Yes, changing mission name was first thing I did.
3. Yes, as per my other threads and comments I'm also annoyed that changes have been made without us knowing and forced upon us.
4. Flermpick I believe the original 2.071 is still on the server. They renamed the file with "_nowalls" but didn't change Mission Name, so there is a duplicate entry for Warfare 2.071 when you select the mission, you just need to know which one it is.


UnderTow, I'm curious why you're against ALL these changes. I've paid particular attention to all your posts in previous threads and implemented most of your suggestions.

Tank prices, AT and ambulances will also see a slight increase which you've frequently suggested. By default, the ambulances are ridiculously cheap (almost equal price as transport vehicles with same troop capacity).


Income is also being reduced so bounties and town capping will play a larger role in determining your income (not huge difference, but noticeable).


Base Patrols are enabled by default, which helps prevent lone base-hunters running in with satchels.


Updated change-list:

- Added descriptions for specialist slots (Squad Leader, Lock Picker, Engineer, Mashman, Sniper).
- Removed all AA missiles from choppers.
- Removed AA missiles from Tunguska.
- Removed AA missiles from M6 Linebacker.
- Removed Stingers from HMMV_Avenger.
- Removed Ammo Trucks.
- Removed Fuel Trucks.
- Added $3000 bounty for killing enemy base buildings.
- Bounty increased from 25% of unit price to 35%.
- Bounty for capturing camps increased from $100 to $200.
- Income interval increased from 60 seconds to 90 seconds.
- Guided missile range set to 3000m.
- MHQ repair cost reduced from 25,000SP to 20,000SP.
- Concrete walls removed.
- FN_FAL ANPVS4 moved to Gear 3 and excluded if Thermal Imaging is disabled.
- M113's and M113 Ambulances available at HF0 for both teams.
- HMMV Ambulance and Vodnik Ambulance available at LF2 for West/East.
- Ambulance prices increased (Vodnik, HMMV, M113 = $1500 / $1400 / $1200) from $525/$725/$750.
- Heavy artillery 'temporarily' removed.
- BMP2(UN) added to BLUFOR HF1.
- Command Tax (on or off via parameters) capped at 25%.
- Repair truck cost increased to $1000 from $525.
- BDRM's $1100, M113's $1000.

One of the first things Freeborne said was that he'd change the name, and that this would by no means replace Benny's on the server, nor did Berk Edition for that matter. Grow a pair of balls, a brain, and find your goddamn caps lock key Undertow...

Just on there at 9.40 am this morning and as Flem said no option to change some params whats up with that.

Do you guys realise server 1 (the warfare server!) *ONLY* has default benny's loaded.

If you hate the new versions so much go play on server #1 and not #2. If someone is doing something else like co-op on Server #1 they can bugger off because it's supposed to be for warfare.

Server #2 is a playground for co-op and testing, the world hasn't ended if there's a mission uploaded to it that you don't like.

Ummm, this mission has not been uploaded to ANY servers yet. I'm still testing it and making changes.

Any edited missions you have been playing were done by others and not related to this thread/mission.

Some parameters are being removed in this version too, but as stated it's NOT to replace default Benny's Edition, but be an alternative, most suited for late night games when all the regulars are on.

Anyway as I was saying there is no vanilla warfare on server 1 but I did find one on server 2. I got Southy to take a look at the mission list on server 1 just to confirm that the ONLY warfare mission on the server has a lot of fixed params and that vanilla warfare was not available. Ballo said it can be fixed during the week.

Hmm, might need some help on my Unit Balancing changes.

This doesn't seem to work:

So only two vehicles I've been able to add/remove weapons so far on BLUFOR have been the USMC Avenger (Woodland, A2) and the M6 Linebacker (Desert, OA).

Yes, I'm aware of the typo in StingerLaucher but that's what Armaholic says the classes are called. These are the unit names referred throughout Warfare's scripts too.

I'm thinking it might be my dedicated server setup, as I haven't configured it, just ran the oaserver.exe in my A2 directory. The odd thing is that the M6 is OA content, and Woodland Avenger is A2 content, so it shouldn't be that it's not running in CombinedOps mode. Any ideas?

It's not the fact that the server is not running CO just tested that.

Maybe you have to remove the magazines too? _unit removeMagazine "2Rnd_Sidewinder_AH1Z";
