Everyone survived my play through. Wrex is the Krogan king. I killed off Kaiden when given the choice in ME, I liked Ashley more (although she turned nasty in ME2). I'm an uber-Paragon.

Although Jack hates me after I strung her along all game before choosing Tali :biglaugha: Jack's still loyal though 8) But all she says to me is "F--- Off!" every time I try to talk to her :P

That's the ring tone on my phone when I get a new text message :P

Love ME, I own all the novels and comic books too. Even the crappy 4th book that makes no sense. I've had the ME3 CE preordered since last year.

ONE WEEK TO GO!!!

You know, in my game

I chose miranda to do the biotic shield thing with the bugs and she lived. Is there a choice to have this team go without you? Because i was there with them, walking along in the biotic shield thing and we all survived (that part anyway).

Haha, that's awesome.
I like that so much, I might just do it myself.

I do believe you're always in the team that goes through the bug storm with a biotic protecting you.
That's interesting to know though, because I thought I had read somewhere that unless you choose a loyal Jack/Samara/Morinth as the biotic specialist, then they will not be able to hold the field, and one of your two squad mates with you will fall out of the field and die.
Anyway, good on Miranda for saving the day for you.

That's what happened to me. Was actually annoyed at it as all I wanted was all her backstory and not a relationship. We 'supposedly' agreed to drop it but she seems to hate me now. *shrugs*

And i'm a completionist so I was doing all the side quests and loyalties before the main quest and thus had them before the attack so I could rush off and be the hero straight away. :P
*Insert negative stuff here.*

Yeah, didn't explain that too well. Pretty much what Breno said

Zaeed talked himself up so I chose him to lead and it got Katsumi killed :(

Ahh yeah.

I my team met up with another team which was fronted by jack, we were all in the biotic shield and then jack wandered out. Which sucked. In the end i had lost Jack and Kelly and i loved both of them. But at least i didn't lose garrus or mordin. they were my favorite. And yeah having Miranda do the shield thing was pretty cool. I got to walk slowly behind her staring at her arse when i wasn't shooting collectors.

It seems odd that someone with the biotic power to hold up the field the entire journey didn't do anything to protect themselves if the person you did choose started to fail.

Especially if it would involve Jack having a chance to show-up Miranda.

I managed to avoid the first by purposefully avoiding main campaign missions and focusing on side ones. I figured since they didn't force the IFF mission on you like Horizon and the first collector ship that it was going to be important and thus should be done last. I hadn't read any spoilers about it before hand though. I even went on to do Legion's loyalty mission as I didn't expect crew members to die, and thankfully none did.

As for the biotic field, Miranda wasn't even a consideration for me. I really liked Samara and ran through the whole game with her, so I was in awe of her biotics and it was an easy choice to have her protect us.

And thankfully on my first playthrough I had mordin with me in my squad. After beating the game I read about heaps of people that had him die even with a full loyalty team if he is defending. So on my Insanity playthrough I sent him off to protect the crew members which for some inexplicable reason means he always survives.

On this scuttled third playthrough I haven't quite decided on who I'm saving yet. But I'll definitely be trying to get Jacob and Miranda killed, those whiney Cerberus scum. I've left Grunt in the tank, will give Legion to Cerberus. I think I'm going to let Tali die just to see how that affects the Quarians. Not sure if I'll kill Samara for Morinth again, although she's wickedly evil there's just not enough unique dialogue for her.

I'll let Mordin die to see how that affects the mission from the ME3 demo. Thane is on his own since his loyalty mission is downright boring. As much as it pains me I'll let Garrus maybe die to see how that affects the Turian relationship. So I'll probably take Jack/Kasumi with me on the final mission. It will be interesting to see if Bioware actually follows through on their 'consequences' mantra since we all know choosing a council meant sweet SFA in ME2

Mordin saved my Shepard from falling!

Mordin was one of my main backup people, so after Garrus died, I chose him to fight the reaper with me.

So just finished that 3rd playthrough of the game. Only took 17 hours on normal, still did pretty much all the main content. I did however skip pretty much every conversations (except those interesting ones from early in the game that I couldn't remember well).

Hidden: show
Left Grunt in the tank and sold Legion.

For loyalty missions:
Kasumi since you're forced too, to get her
Samara so I could kill her for Morinth; unfortuantely I didn't have high enough paragon/renegade to choose Morinth
    Garrus so I could romance
Zaeed so I could get the upgrades/flamer, though he wasn't loyal as I failed the charm check
Tali so I could hand over the evidence of her fathers testing, hopefully this leads to quarian/geth war! So failed the loyalty check here too
Jack as I wanted her warp ammo

Did the Reaper IFF as soon as I could to get my crew killed. It only shows Kelly dying on the collector base though, thought it would show more dying.

Went through without any ship upgrades; Jack bought it first, then Tali, then Thane, all before landing on the collector base.

Sent Jacob into the vents so he'd die. Used Miranda as the biotic shield hoping SHE would die, alas it led to Garrus dying (which I did want, to see how it affects Turians, and didn't want to see how it affects romance in ME3).

While shielding I had Mordin lead the other team so he'd die. In the final assault I took Kasumi and Zaeed so Samara and Mirana would hopefully die defending. Ultimately Zaeed karked it after the platform collapsed and Mirana died defending; I though Samara was dead too as it didn't show her when jumping for the ship, just Kasumi. So I thought'd I'd had too many die and would have to reload, thankfully I escaped.

So just me, Kasumi and Samara at level 30 to head into ME3 with a pissed off Illusive Man since I blew his station up. It was alot of fun picking any answer I wanted in this run through; as the situation called for it, paragon or renegade. Felt alot better than following Biowares boring 'compass'
