Recently I've been feeling the same way. Got round to playing GUN the other week, and despite it's faults was quite enjoyable to play. Technically it's actually 3rd person, but I'd love to see some gunslingin' action in an FPS![]()
An FPS based on Sharpe or something similar would also be awesome!

Oh yeah, exploring underutilized genres is a terrible idea. It's much better to go back to a safe genre that has been over-explored to death already. Yeah, can't wait for the inevitable Modern Warfare 4, woo.
