Spoiler mix:

Hidden: show
End of episode preview leads me to believe that Carl is still going to kill shane, final frames also showed them standing in a carpark looking through a wire topped fence which I've assumed means we're into prison territory.

Going to be a little weird with some of the character changes (no twins, no sophia) but i guess they might have just remove the prisoner that was all relative to from the story.

Rick is still a tool (just like in the comics at this point) and i HATE Dale for some reason, I don't remember him being such a little ****, redneck and Carl are still the only ones I like.

Also not sure what they're doing with Andrea, I really liked her in the comics but she's **** atm on tv.

Laughin that Rick could out-draw anyone with that cannon he carries  .

I'll try to indicate whether TV or Book for hidden tags, didn't even think of that :D

Very excited by (mixed TV/comic)
Hidden: show
the idea of them using the Carl storyline taking out Shane as I thought that was a really amazing scene in the comics, would love to see that transferred to TV. Also, as I said previously, given that Lori has already made a point of being upset by Carl's comments that he would have done the same thing as Rick when shooting the little girl, if he shoots Shane, how will Lori react. She wants Shane dead, she said so but how will she react if Carl is one to do it.

Also, I wonder if Glenn is going to stay at farm or not, like he does in comics. Admittedly they come to prison once it is somewhat safe but still, I can't wait to see what happens :)

tv spoilers

Hidden: show
I was happy with a few things I picked up from that last episode that some other people picked up.

I was wondering for a bit what the point of showing that lone walker shane was looking at in the fields was, and then I realised it sort of symbolises shane himself. first time he sees it he probably thinks it's a good thing, being alone in the world, but probably changes his mind after the events. if rick had treated shane like shane wanted rick to treat other people, shane probably would have died. being alone isn't the best way to be.

the other thing I noticed was the noises the two were making when they were fighting. at one point they were almost indistinguishable from walkers, showing that they can get as savage as the walkers.

I thought there was something else subtle that I picked up, but I can't really remember.

OH HELL NO! THEY DID NOT JUST DO THAT ='(

Seriously do not click here unless you've seen the latest episode.

I mean SERIOUSLY do not click here. SERIOUSLY!

Hidden: show
If you haven't seen it and clicked anyway don't go blaming me.

Why are they leaving it at a cliffhanger when its pretty clear Dale is dead? That walker just ripped open his god damn stomach like paper! Bugger.. now the whole show has just made itself into an absolutely alternate universe from the book.

Shame really.. I was really warming up to TV Dale.. Ironically killed in the end by a character thats only just now maybe coming into the books.

That's not really a cliffhanger

Hidden: show
There was a gunshot/fade to black, I can't see any way for that to end other than Dale being shot in the head. Go go departure from the comics, I'm keen to see where things go from here, sad that Dale didn't get to get jiggy with Andrea before he bought the farm. That was an integral part of both their character development.

Sorta funny in a way because all through this episode I was thinking "jesus, how the hell did tv-Dale live THIS LONG by being such a ****?"

What I was expecting that didn't happen (slight comic spoiler)

Hidden: show
Soon as I saw Shane talking to Carl I was 100% sure that Carl was going to kill the prisoner and that scene would take the place of the one where Carl kills the crazy twin later in the story.

When i saw Carl in the barn i was like "yep, i was **** right" but I guess that wove that in there a a bit of extra suspense, with the intention being that anyone who read the comic might come to exactly that conclusion.

Does it drive anyone else nuts that so many shows are spoilering the next episode in the credits now? Both The Walking Dead and Dexter do it, off the top of my head. I'm going to watch the next episode, you don't need to entice me to do it by revealing plot lines :x
