Despite having enough comfortable disposable income to feed my gaming desires... I can't say there's too much on that list that has me reaching for my wallet.

February = $514-612

PS Vita: $348
8GB memory card: $42.98
Uncharted - Golden Abyss: $59
Wipeout 2048: $49
Rayman - Origins: $58
Everybodys Golf: $49 (maybe)
Modnation Racers - Road Trip: $49 (maybe)
NB: JB-Hifi prices

March = $118

I Am Alive: $20 (?)
Journey: $20 (?)
SSX: $98

April = $60-90 (?)

The Secret World

May = $78

LittleBigPlanet Vita: $78

June = $90

Darksiders 2: $90
Diablo III: $0 (Blizzard year sub promo thingy)

Sometime this year (hopefully): $446

Grand Theft Auto V: $100 (?)
Bioshock Infinite: $100 (?)
The Last Guardian: $100 (?)
Far Cry 3: $88
World of Warcraft - Mists of Pandaria: $58

GRAND TOTAL = $1306-1434

Quite reasonable, works out to $25-28 a week. Although there are bound to be other titles that grab my attention (stupid Steam sales/whim).

I'll only be getting:

Darksiders 2
Diablo 3
Borderlands 2
Hitman: Absolution

And of course Torchlight 2 when it comes out.

Agreed, ffs, dont pay more than you have to, it will only encourage them. :)

I had no idea Yakuza Dead Souls was getting a western release... but damn, I'm pre-ordering now. Love those games!

Was I the only one that saw that and thinks its a typo?

There's a fair few from that list i want, plus a few others. Only a few i'm really keen for and will pre-order, the rest ill get on a Steam/cdkey sale during the year.

feb
kingdoms of amalur - waiting for steam sale ~$40?
syndicate - if it's good, cdkey ~$35
$75

march
mass effect 3 - pre-ordered CE $90

may
max payne 3 - steam or import ~$60
dragons dogma - import ~$60
$120

june
darksiders 2 - steam ~$60
diablo 3 - pre-ordered CE $140
$200

september
far cry 3 - steam or import ~$60

october
**** creed 3 - steam ~$60

the rest - i'll wait for a few of these to go on sale, let's say ~$350 for all.
prey 2
borderlands 2
guild wars 2
hitman absolution
dishonored
risen 2
grid 2
bioshock infinite
thief 4

That's a rough total of $955 for the year. Not too bad i guess, considering i don't have many other expenses.

Can I just add that I love that people are making their own lists and totals!

And Far Cry 2 WAS incredible, although admittedly far too drawn out.

Well here's what I plan so far:

Mass Effect 3 - $90

Diablo 3 (standard) - $90

The Secret World - $180 (boxed game plus sub price for rest of year)

Plus whatever cool indie titles come out to provide easy entertainment between the main RPGs - about a $200 budget for those.

So I'm looking at about $600 for my expenses.

I'm not completely sold on GW2 atm. Maybe it'll be worth buying, maybe it won't. Really depends on if The Secret World grabs me.

But I'm generally looking at buying a few AAA games with lots of replayability, and filling gaps with indie games, and still plan on doing more modding for Skyrim, which is free.

You put up Tiger Woods Golf, but miss the Directx 11, PC Exclusive ArmA 3... :|

I don't know what kind of gamer you are, but no way in hell I'm buying a Golf game... And to miss out on what will be one of the better games of 2012, especially due to the power Directx 11 will being the Real Virtuality engine is just mind boggling.

PS Vita $630 (wifi version +4 games + 32gb card)
Mass Effect 3, $60
Arma 3, $60
Hitman Absolution, $60
Darksiders 2 $60
Dragons Dogma $60
Far Cry 3 $60
Borderland 2 $60

I'm sure there's others, i have no idea what else is releasing on the vita this year, and theres the Wii U if it actually launches this year.

I'm probably looking at around $1500 (no doubt more) for the year not including the Wii U or extra vita games. I am sticking to my current PC until at least next year, so i should have enough extra cash this year for more games :)

PS I won't be buying Diablo III, not at all interested.

I'll spend about $60 on four of those games (hurrah for Steam sales).

I don't mind waiting a while; I have far too many games to play as it is.

From the list ... $0.00 ... nice cheap year until June.

RRP pricing and release day purchases? Not likely. I'll happily play yesterday's greatest for a fraction of the cost. There are still games backed up in my library from Christmas 2010.

Why quote our outrageous Australian prices? Your implying people actually pay them instead of utilizing the many workarounds to get fair (read: Normal) prices.
===================================================================
The Darkness II – Pre-order was as cheap as $38.50 at GetGamesGo. Can only go down from there during sales.

Silent Hill: Downpour – ~$50 Perhaps from ozgameshop. Will wait for the price to drop on this one.

I Am Alive – $TBA, let’s roll with $20

Max Payne 3 – Let's assume $45-$50 On GreenManGaming, less if theres a promotional coupon.

Far Cry 3
Borderlands 2
Hitman: Absolution
Guild Wars 2
Again assume $45-50 or less at GMG/Amazon/GetGamesGo/Import

My list comes to what, $300 or so? A Farcry from the supposed $700 for the above :hahaha:
