Pretty much covers exactly what this game is. Huge amounts of fun...when it works.

I haven't tried to play it for a week or so now, the infuriating matchmaking simply removes the fun (Say what you will about it in COD titles, at least it gets games quickly in my experience).

I hope the DLC/fix patch adds players and I can get some game time from it, but I'm not holding my breath.

Yeah i was keen for this but gfwl matchmaking.. hell no. I'm pretty sure i recall an article where a dev said don't worry it will be fixed in release

Great review Mr Mellie, sounds like the gameplay itself is living up to the advertising but....stupid matchmaking!! I'll probably wait to buy in March once this is fixed cause I can't afford it before then anyway.

Please do buy it in March, I really did enjoy the game and would happily pour a hundred hours into it. What we didn't include in the review was my youtube vid... me staring at a matchmaking screen for 10 minutes

All I've seen is the matchmaking lobby so far, haven't managed to get into an actual game yet, I usually give up after 15-20 mins waiting. If there was a single player mode with bots I wouldn't mind as much but as it is it's just frustrating
