This comment has had little thought so may be entirely flawed but... would it have been hard for them to have made it a phone too?

Like a portable gaming system and then, as a bonus, you can also use it to make calls??

Why didn't you speak about their media format for storing games? I assume the 500meg-1gig comment was for when you downloaded games off their store.

We were only supplied with download codes so far, not actual games in cases. So, I didn't speak about it because I don't know, is the answer! :)

honestly if they had just put in the feature to act as a phone as well i probably would've bought this. Sadly my student income just isn't enough to buy this handheld.

pity was looking forward to the vita too.

Good to know that you don't know was the reason for you not knowing.

Had a hands-on on one ...

didn't find much trouble with the back touch screen as mentioned in review.

Screen is big n crispy.

But ....

twin sticks a bit "floaty"

and the overall construction feels ... plasticky...

It doesn't have the heft of the PSP 1000s ...

at the quoted price ... it feels overpriced.

I'll wait for the the PSvita Soy or some special edition and in a better package

Otherwise I'll stick with my PSP as there are more software....

Can you say .... New Suikoden for PSP ?

Btw hate download codes ... just give us the damn cartridge or whatever already !

No onboard storage, extra cost of SD memory card, $40-$70 for individual games, $350 for the base unit...

Even my local EB has only just enough copies to cover preorders and not enough games to sell with it.

Overpriced and destined for mediocrity. I think it might be interesting as perhaps the deathknell for either Sony in general or at least the ps4. There's just not enough points of difference between the $700 startup costs and a mobile phone.
