BF3 in 3D latest Tech

New way to Play BF3 in 3D.
Cinema size screen on your head.
I may have to get a set of these instead of getting 2 extra LEDs for eye infinty setup, it will take up less room and would work out about the same price with the added benefit of 3D.

That would be pretty incredible. Wonder what type of hardware it needs to back it up?

From what reading any video card that supports 3D by HDMI will work fine.

It also has a pass through HDMI so you can Chain as many as you like together.

Screen size produced by this system is equivalent to a 150-inch screen, so that works out about 5.5 times larger than my current screen.

The built-in virtual 5.1 surround sound headphones deepen the experience by simulating a movie theater’s surround sound

If your video card can output twice 720p (which is roughly equal to 1920x1080, actually a little less), you should be cooking. Given that it's designed for the PS3, any modern PC GPU should do the job.

Hmm. Could be very interesting. I currently power 2560x1440 at a bit under ultra, so I reckon I could handle it. I'd like a "try before buy" scenario though :(

Try before you buy is a good idea, I will try and see what can be organised. If I get lucky I will post a review here.

I know alot of the Sony stores are now trialling this tech out so you can go in store for a demo... That said, AFAIK they use the PS3 for game demos, however it can't be that different to PC...

I did a bit of research and it seems like there's some complaining about a 50-100ms delay. I'm out if that's the case. Otherwise I'm probably gonna be in, I don't think porn could get me going as good as 3D BF3 in complete immersion.
