S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of Pripyat won't install via steam...

I continually get the "servers too busy" message no matter what settings I change, the other 2 games have installed just fine but this one won't start (even with the filter off).

Anyone got any ideas?

contact steam support and give as much detail in first message as you can. Other than that, just keep trying.

I tried installing 'Mafia' the other day (I have it backed-up on my HDD) and it gave me the same error message. I tried installing other games I have backed up and they all worked/installed just fine. Strange.

I reinstalled Steam and still no luck with installing 'Mafia'. I might send a ticket to Steam to try and resolve this.

Had the same problem too. 'Can't connect to Steam' because it's offline or some poop. I had to uninstall/re-install Steam to get it back working.

You aren't running a Steam server filter are you (like Frey's)? You have filtered to just node servers there is a chance that the servers don't host that game. I've had that issue in the past.

Nope, filter off and uninstalled, Steam will not pull the game from any server anywhere.
