Good video editting/designing software?

Does anyone know of any good video editting/designing programs out there? Mainly want it to create an introductions and recrutiment clips for my clan?

It costs, and you'll need to learn it, but Sony Vegas Pro is the place to be.

If you can't be arsed, then it's to Windows Movie Maker with you!

Blender looks Horrible.
Sony Vegas 10 is the way to go. Now I'm not going to say Download it illegally. Nor am I going to say buy it.... Do what you do, It's amazing to work with

How hard is Sony Vegas to use? I've tried blender for about an hour, hard to navigate around but with a little persistenence and I'd be there lol

i use VEGAS for my own videos.

I find it REALLY easy to use and quite intuitive. but i started writing music on sony ACID and they are so similar...

my mate has final cut pro - there are a few tiny things he can do that i cant without addons in vegas, but 99% of teh stuff i can do but FASTER and EASIER than he can.
