Am really enjoying the gunslinger though. Is actually a very fast paced character, a lot more than the cover system seems to predict. Because of the extreme range, in groups you usually charge in with the rapid fire lasers before setting up behind cover.

I have gone the empire side and have already gone over 1000 dark side points . I have a lvl 15 Bounty Hunter , cannot wait for my CE to arrive next week .

All of the weapon and chest armour (and later legs) power comes from item mods, rather than innate stats. This means you can find things that go together and just upgrade them, rather than go around with a mismatch of gear.

Here's my dual duelling pistols and matching pirate shirt. I blew 28 Coruscant tokens on the pistols, and since level 16 have just been buying new barrels for them.

Smugglers are Republic aligned. The Republic is the dominant, lawful government of this time period.
The Rebels are the Sith Empire as they are trying to overthrow the lawful government to assume power themselves.
