OtherOS Class Action Suit Against Sony Dismissed

Reports are coming in that the class action suit raised by disgruntled gamers against Sony for removing the OtherOS feature from their PlayStation 3 hardware has been dismissed. US District Judge Richard Seeborg last Thursday granted Sony's motion to dismiss the sole remaining plaintiff's claim against the company, writing in his decision that "The dismay and frustration at least some PS3 owners likely experienced when Sony made the decision to limit access to the PSN service to those who were willing to disable the Other OS feature on their machines was no doubt genuine and understandable."

Sony used to be a good company but then they took an arrow to the knee.

I doubt Sony will ever create a similar option to OtherOS on future systems again.

...One things for sure though, that particular community of users (many of them were the earliest adopters of PS3) will never trust Sony ever again.
