TF2 Lan Game with Bots?

Is it possible?

I'm wanting to play with my step-son, but can't figure out how to do it.
Is there something I'm missing, or am I just looking for something that doesn't exist?

You can do it, I've done it with my missus!

Just host a game and then use the console commands to create the bots like normal.

we used to do this on the clan server when numbers were low. Bots are much more intelligent now than they used to be

They only work on some maps, koth maps work well with the bot AI

Bots won't work on all maps but there is a list of maps on the wiki they are confirmed to work with.

You can also get this collection of Nav Meshes for a lot of different custom maps if you want.

they actually now work decently well on payload and cp maps. Recent updates have been increasing bot skill.
