Jets and choppers are fun.

Its just hard getting a good pilot! The transport or scout choppers are awesomely maneuverable but the attack ones not so much. Way better now i have some unlocks for it! Heat seekers as chopper pilot is awesome :D

But still, the most fun ive had on any server has been while playing as inf.. in a good squad. No matter how fun vehicles are, nothing beats owning the other team with teamwork by a single squad :D

I need to get some teamwork-oriented blokes on my friends list, asap.

Hardcore actually *is* better. I pooh poohed Disco when he kept saying it, but I get it now.

Ah man, I got in a chopper for the very first time tonight. Channelling my amazing stick-handling powers from BF2 I had it strafing sideways, 2 meters above the ground straight away. My gunner however, wouldn't take the targets I was offering him (like another chopper with its tail to us), someone got lock on us and I couldn't shake them despite roller-skating across grass behind some trees.

After we both died, I look up to global chat;

IF YOU DONT NO HOW TO USE CHOPPERS DONT GET IN EM THEIR 4 AIR NOT GRD

That's like the people who would tell me they weren't a tank when I'd go AT-crazy on BF2's IO servers.

I'm disappointed by most of the maps they're all way to dense with capture points within a short sprint of each other. Also good bye to team play with the way squads are at the moment.

Does anyone else feel that the jets are way to slow and sluggish? I think making them faster would actually solve some of the current issues with them dominating helicopters. The BF2 flight model always felt perfect to me i don't know why they changed it at all

Here's hoping DICE haven't screwed with the flag placements in the Karkand pack.

If they are left as they were then I can see most of the newer maps dying off in conquest. It's about the only thing saving me from binning it already.

Although even if the old maps are the same in layout, the choppers handling won't be, the jets speed won't be, sniping will still be nerfed...actually now that I think about it I doubt anything can save it now.

Flying around tonight in a heli, just minigunning everyone and dropping squads off, reminds me off the good ol days of BF2, made me smile :)

flying through davamand peak tunnel with the lil' bird, shooting people also cool, only in battlefield haha :)

some maps are **** with chokepoints

the odd lag is annoying

i think over time, but at the moment people need to teamplay more, less like everyone is support and u cant find a medic etc

liking so far :), lil steep learning curve

Ah man, was having a ripper in the tank but kicked by an admin (GoN server). Think it was a tk-kick as I might have done a few.

What's the TK-limit?

There was a punkbuster update a few hours ago, you should try manually updating it (pbsetup from evenbalance.com) as that's what's "admin" kicking people.

Anyone play this game with a joystick? I'm having trouble with mine (Saitek Cyborg 3d Gold USB).

Loving it by the way.

Serenity now! I spent all yesterday fighting against PB, hope this doesn't hurt.

I have to admit I like Hardcore more in this than I did in BC2.
