Exactly what it says on the tin.

I know there are a few of you out there with some awesome stuff, so show us your awesomeness!
Also, feel free to share if you have stuff that isn't 40k or even GW. More is better.

I'll start. Painting up my Stormraven, mostly finished the cockpit details (but not the techmarine. He's got more work to do). Just have to clean up some bits that went over and she'll be good. Curse this terrible light, can't see a damn thing in there when painting.

You'll have to excuse the image quality. Phones and all that jazz.

Pricy hobby Chucky!

Very nice though! I always had a thing for 40K, just could never afford it :P

Well, it is true that crack is cheaper. But I guess over time it kinda levels out with the models - I have some stuff that I still use from 8 years ago. Same can not always be said for the game itself though, as they do release new editions from time to time. On a positive note, the finished product can look really awesome*.

*Note: awesomeness depends on the skill of the modeller, and the amount of love, sweat and tears they input. See Golden Demon winners for examples of awesomeness. See models dipped in paint by 8 year olds for those that lack it.

This is a little less than half of my minis. I've got a larger amount of Chaos/Orcs and Goblins/Khemri Undead.

Also got 40k orks, which are much more painted.

Haven't played them in a long time, but they are still there, lurking in the wings, waiting to come back.

I don't do models any more, when i was in highschool i spent a month making a dark angels chaplain out of a communal bitz box and greenstuff, pimpin angel style wings and all. I had the base coat drying on the floor next to my desk and i knocked a physics textbook off it with my chair and it shattered into a million pieces.

NEVER AGAIN

I think you've got a lot of painting to catch up on.

Well now I've got a (mostly) complete model to show off!

Couple of optics on the various missile launchers and the nose, a whole heap of highlighting on the main body and tail and the underside still to go.

How did I miss this thread! Here's a bit of my stuff I've been working on, I'll wrap it in spoiler tags so as not to ruin the page/people's connections.

So way back in 2009 my friends got me a Stompa for my birthday. I've finally been getting around to actually painting it, thanks in no small part to getting an airbrush! Here's some (out of focus and not great) pics. The arms are magnetised and come off for easy storage/transport. The rest is just in pieces while I paint it. I went for a very different look to the rusting heap of metal appearance of most Stompas, and I'm pretty pleased how it's working out!

When it's finished it'll be mounted on a proper base, which is covered with lots of squigs that are following it into battle in the same manner as dolphins follow ships. At least that's the plan! Just the right arm and some details to go, then I can move onto the base and finish it up. I'll post more pics when I can!

Here's some of my other, older stuff. A Feral Ork trukk:

Stompa should be finished and based up soon, and I'm just putting the finishing touches on a properly painted Realm of Battle board. Will post pics when I can!

Nice work there on the Stompa Tim. Might try and convince my brother to put up pictures of his entire horde (which includes two (2!) stompas).

Also, you seem to have a distinct lack of Dakka. You should remedy this with more lootas.

I've got some lootas, but I haven't taken any good photos of them - here's a crappy one (where an outflanking Sentinel is just about to make a mess of them)

Damn I loved 40k (Blood Angels and Nurgle here) but god damn I hated painting them. And yes it is a pricey hobby (especially when you are a jobless 16 year old)
