Cannot wait!

don't forget it's not just me :>

justice, wtbfood, unique and batesy are all helping with the organisation of the tournament, i just happen to be the more public face.

as for the SEA/NA issue, it's unfortunate but it looks like the consensus is that the amount of mucking around for all parties, as well as the obvious lag issues, will probably mean we will be playing all games on SEA. it sucks because we have multiple people signing up with NA accounts :<

if you guys are interested in tournaments, a lot of NA players frequent reddit.com/r/starcraft , and there are lots of tournaments going on for all levels (if you don't know about it already).

Yeah but waking up at 4AM to play Strarcraft US tournies isn't really viable now is it?

Most of my Aus friends play on US servers without any problem ;/ GotGames.com.au has been running a SC2 comp with so far just a $10 prize the last 4 weeks every Sunday and they run it on US, no one has any issues. But one comp isn't all that much.

I have accounts on both US and SEA, why doesn't everyone else?
Anyone who bought the SEA version (which I'm guessing is most), have the ability to have both accounts. Create one?

Edit: Nevermind, missed a post. DarKnode bought his copy from the US. :)

not to be a douche, but maybe you should have considered these sort of things when you purchased starcraft 2 from america. it wasn't even that much cheaper if you looked around.

anyway. forcing whoever you are matched against to create an NA account, and forcing them to play with greater latency is a bit unfair. we can't cater to everyone, but we are trying to cater to as many people as possible. unfortunately you are in the minority.

sorry.

Hey Skitz,

I don't suppose you'd mind having another person do commentary for some of the games. I would like to give it a crack if thats OK. If you've already got enough people, thats cool.

Hey guys just a reminder that signups close at noon today, we will work out seeding and then the bracket will give live and you'll be able to play your games.

Maxpayne5th: Have a look at our VODs from the previous season and you'll see that our 'commentary' is pretty nonstandard and casual. We will investigate options in which you can join in and do some serious commentary if you want.

we will start forfeiting people if games are unplayed. we will try to disqualify the least active/visible person. come on IRC.
