No sale for me, I don't like these turn based RPG games.

Personally I wouldn't really class it as an RPG. Sub-Genre maybe. But its a Strategy game first and foremost. Otherwise Call of Duty would be an RPG with its levelling based system. :D

Because I was reminded of Dark Messiah and was thinking about that when I investigated this title.

Might and Magic =! Heroes of Might and Magic. Very vastly different games.

Really? I thought the first Heroes game was a spin-off of the original series.

Oh they're related, but his point is they're not the same kind of game. Just like Dark Messiah is apart of the series but COMPLETELY different.

I'm surprised there is so much demand for more HOMM games, compared to the original M&M games. Perhaps turn based strategy games are significantly cheaper to make than a normal RPG?

We're waiting for the "Total War type battlefields meets HoMM overworld" to be announced.

Until then we're playing HoMM3.
