3DS confirmed to be region locked

well that sucks, i have a few imported DS games i wont be able to use on the 3DS. also the rumours of 3DS games going to cost more than previous DS games and no option of importing games now, i have lost a huge amount of interest in the 3DS now :(

I know a friend of mine (Vook of www.vooks.net) has imported a Japanese 3DS, and his Australian copy of Pokemon Black works on it. I'd say it'll just be 3DS games that are region locked, and even then, not all games.
