Well well! At least this four year old game can move patches and content out the door in a timely fashion! I am looking at you, Bad Company 2.

That patch was announced AGES ago, this is the first we've heard of it since.

The 1.51 patch currently listed here http://games.on.net/filelist.php?app=419&menu=1 is old and should not be used for the new public Beta test.

I've suggested this as a news story and suggested it as a new file on the GON file mirror. It is going to be great to see more people play this now and hopefully the final patch will come out January/February next year. I want the new beta to be on GON because it will be unmetered (for me ) and be heaps quicker to download as it is 1.3 GB. This version of the beta is similar to the previous beta released in September this year, with some improvements and the same maps. Also one of the best parts of the beta and hopefully new patch is free Northern Strike expansion.

This... there's a couple hundred people still playing BF2142 (according to gametracker/game-monitor)... i'd prefer they spent their time updating current & played games.

2142 was a farrrrrrrrr superior game tbh. It's just... more fun. It is a real shame that it doesn't have a significant following

well being one of those Couple of hundred people who still pay 2142 , i quite apprectate the update . hopefully the update will bring a influx of people back to 2142,even if its only a small amount.
