Good BF2 servers?

I bought BF2 in the Steam sale (yay for cheap games) and want to know some good servers to play on.

The lone GON server is empty and will most likely be taken down in the near future anyway and the only other Aus servers I can see populated are GameArena servers (and we all know how much GameArena sucks ****).

Hey, I just got it too (I only own 1942, played a lot of the BF2 demo back in the day though!) so the Aus servers should have at least ONE more person roving on them soon

Not in the near future, it's there for those that can get it started, I wouldn't mind seeing a all maps server with vehicles, or certain maps at least I think it would make some happy, don't get your hopes up though.

Hay Slayer how have you been.
Yes the good days of BF2 on GON gee I had fun.
GA is the only server that is running BF2 and the rest is over seas servers that are running BF2 server but you will have lag.
My BF2 game is now collecting dust.

But I am waiting for BF3 at the moment going to play HAWX2 for now sad is it not

Basically GA is where you will be playing. All maps, Dalian and 64 inf are usually populated, so you do have a bit of choice.

Yes shame that its not the server its the fools that are allowing it to happen; May be they can take a lesson or two from "GON" Admin.

And its my home server and I don't play GA if I can help it.
But in saying that it has some good points as well so I am not going to knock all of it.

Also if you have an issue with punkbuster with BF2 in steam, try disabling your Steam in-game interface.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND now it's quitting saying Punkbusters heartbeat is stopping. Great.
