Internode Adelaide: black ops - is it a GON owned server

But in the server browser this server is listed as above 'Internode Adelaide: black ops'. So is it run by GON or is it a privately owned server? Its kind of confusing. Help please, i need to know so I know whether or not to raise a support ticket with GON.

If the server's IP address is not on the list here, then it's probably not an Internode one.

That's a good question. I'd imagine its not GON owned as it'd have the title "Games On Net ..." but then again who would put the title "Internode Adelaide : black ops" by choice?

Ok thanks... An admin abused/banned me for using the grenade launcher. NOT EVEN kidding, so I will be making a support request about it.

Just needed to know before i sent an essay in complaining.

As far as im aware its 100% fine. lol

Thankfully I was able to download the server demo to back up my claim. It's a bit of a joke. The guy honestly just got mad and banned my friend and I for tubing.

Thats why I've asked. The guy never said "no tubing its against server rules" he just got mad and banned.

Acaila would be the best one to answer your question which I am sure he will do when he sees this thread.

Fairly sure GON do not have any BlackOps servers running under the Internode name, as far as I know they are all marked Games.On.Net.

There is also 2 things that makes the server very suspicious of not being a GON run server, 1 - the server name, all GON servers will say something in the format of games.on.net 10 TDM [ADL] or [SYD] for example.

And 2 - no GON admin will kick you for using a grenade launcher... ever, all GON CoD admins are experienced, adhere to our server rules and code of conduct and act professional at all times when in server. The type of admin behaviour you have described is not that of a GON CoD admin.

However in the meantime I would raise a support request to let our internal guys know in case they do not see this thread.

I was wrong this server is not one of ours the ip 173.199.81.68:3074
is not ran by GON admins so if you are being abused on that server we can not do anything about it on our end.

As Maximus said all our servers are in green and i suggest playing on these instead of that one if you are being banned just for using a weapon in the game .

lol ok. Tad confusing..... I guess that support requests a tad useless then. It sucks though being banned for just playing the game. Just couldn't handle the pr0tube Oh well GON only it is
