I've been pretty lucky over the years having driven client/friends cars,,

Most expensive was a Continental S2 (owner was drunk and didn't want to leave his car is the city understandably, his words were something to the effect of "it's $6mil worth of humiliation if you crash it" followed by "why are we going so slow?")

A few I can remember - Porsche 959 (which I was in when a truck decided to run it's wheel-nuts up the side of the car), Gallardo,Porsche GT2, GT3 & Cayenne Turbo, handful of Skylines & a nice Sileighty, few HSV's (nothing outstanding), Lotus Exige & Elise, Lancer Evo II, III, V, VI, VII & IX, Aston Vantage, Caterham/7, Aero 8, Cerbera,

Definitely two of my favourites though, the Lotus Carlton (INSANE) & Lancia Delta Integrale Evo (only short drive and not sure if evo I or II).

Lotus Carlton is just scary good. So scary good.

The only chance I ever had to drive a Mustang ended with me in tears (almost) the clutch was so heavy I couldn't push it down to engage gears...

A friend of mine that used to fly in the RAAF told me at the Clipsal this year about a guy that owns the only F40LM never to be raced. Turns out he's here in Adelaide. And turns out I already know him. And that I see him every Friday when I pick up my girlfriend from work.

So for my first Ferrari drive, I'm looking to soften him up and beg & plead. I don't like my chances, Daryl tells me he sat in it just the once and 'it was just beautiful.' (Daryl himself on the other hand sold his 355 before I met him which I sometimes cry about. He also wants to get back into racing, with a GT40 to run in the Classic Tourers(?) category.)

While working as a Valet/Detailer got to drive alot of expensive cars a few k's from the airport to the compound and back. Stuff like basic Porsche's, M3's, Audi A8's.

Yep, lots of hi-speed german limo's

I should point out that the above is pretty much the equivalent to a Lotus tuned VN/VP commodore :P But I'm still jealous haha

I learnt to drive in the old man's Audi S8.
Not a big deal these days but back then it was worth a few more dollars than what it is now.
Apart from that, driving our harvester with bailer behind it (about a $1m setup)

Fastest would be my brother's Twin Turbo V6 Hilux. 12.8 second Quarter. One of the funniest things you'd ever see is this Hilux with the full lift kit for rock hopping doing the quarter and flattening V8 Holden and Ford heroes.

Most expensive thing would be my friends 2003 WRX STi. Bored out and wider forged pistons, went from 2.5 to 2.8. Twin turbo with top and front intercoolers, straight through exhaust with twin 4.5" exhaust. Dyno papers for 450hp at the wheels. He wrote it off a couple of months back when he went through a fence and rolled it. Shame... Total build cost of close to $30k on top of what he paid for it.

Drove dads 20th Anniversary R8 Maloo yesterday. Not sure what's more expensive or faster between that and his AC Cobra.

I got to take a long time customer's 2006 BMW M3 Coupe for a fair thrash on two separate occasions this week. The guys had a little bit of work done and claims 420BHP.

My god it was awesome.
