The free kick was there. Just because it's was a match-deciding call doesn't mean they shouldn't pay it.

Bomber was pretty pissed though.

They shouldn't pay it because those type of tackles had been happening all night, without free kicks. On top of that it was a really wet game, too. The tackle itself wasn't in the back either - he just slid on top of him after the ball had spilled.

Agree with Pyros here.

If the call had have happened early in the game, no one would have give a sh1t. As it was a match defining decision, it's been blown out of proportion.

Cam Mooneys call of "You've just lost us the game"...ROFL.

What cost them the game was their piss poor first half, nothing else. The Cats didn't deserve the win and that's that.

I look forward to the Prelim, where the wounded Cats will be up against the All Conquering Pies!!!

Go You Pies!!!

Well I got the tip right but it gives me no pleasure to see the Blues out in the first game, again. :(

Intense game.

Ha, that's an understatement.
Blues had what; 20 to 5 inside 50s and choked so hard in front of goal in the last term. Such an entertaining game to watch though!

How do you figure they didn't deserve it? The team at the front at the end of the game deserves it; should have been the Cats other than the fact there was a retarded umpire. Just because a team dominates the first half doesn't mean they deserve the win.

This is true, but this time the shoe is on the other foot. Last couple of times the Cats cantered into the prelim with the week off and the Pies had to go through the Semi. This time round, the Cats have to do it the hard way, and Pie fan r not, you must admit that the Pies of 2010, are a much stronger outfit than previous finals encounters with Geelong.

I'm not getting ahead of myself. Assuming Geelong beat Freo, the Prelim should be a cracker and could go either way. But I beleive this is certainly the Pies best chance to turn the tables.

I am glad that the Pies play the Cats in the Prelim rather than the Final, as I would think the occasion would get to the Pies, and the Cats have the experience and runs on the board in Grand Finals. Either way, I think the winner of this Prelim, will win the flag.

Prays for Freo win :)
