Down Under does it: local box art outs 250 GB Kinect bundle

Unread postby News Portal » 9 Aug 10, 8:27 am

Australians, let us unite in pride that our fair nation has produced yet another scoop of a story! We might not be home to as many development studios as other countries but by gum when it comes to PR reps letting news slip ahead of schedule we are up there with the best of them.

Our [comp=2]Microsoft[/comp] guys may be kicking themselves today after a weekend release of local box art gave away the existence of a 250 GB [app=7172]Kinect[/app] console bundle.

No, don't go checking it, it is actually done correctly, it's just how I read it. :D

Of course this little blurb on the side of the box may also just be junk they filled in to make the artwork look good while displaying the design. Probably not but that is still possible too.

Wow the 4G version is interesting, i'm thinking they are targeting casual gamers
who have no need for a large hdd.

The day Strategy games become more efficient on console then pc due to voice and hand controls is the day that PC takes a harsh blow.
How many fragile and beautiful things have perished because they lacked the strength needed to survive.

If you make an **** out of your self, there will always be someone to ride you.

I'm gonna get the 4G one as another media extender for the other room as it has wireless inside as well (i hope), so no need for the HDD as it'll all be streamed.

i'm in the market as a first time xbox buyer. am completely disinclined to get kinect because i have a wii.

if it was not much more for this bundle, and came with some games i actually want, i might consider it.

Still need to get myself a tv/projector first though anyhow :)

Naturally my eye was drawn first to the quote box. And then I had a heart attack.

 so my evil plan worked! :P

Actually for some reason I still read it as "Australians, let us untie in pride". Must be just me...
