Spixel, an original game concept by Schwolop.
You probably already know that all the information you see on your XBox 360 Elite is made up of tiny coloured squares of light called pixels. What you don't know is that these pixels aren't independent entities. They're a swarm. A collective intelligence with a hive mind and ferocious intellect.
And now it's insane!
Powered by the exciting motion control available with Project Natal, Spixel is a real-time puzzle game with a twist. The Spixel's hive mind is only as powerful the pixels it controls - confuse it for long enough and the pixels lose their independence and return to powering your XBox's graphics.
Use your hands to draw walls, block and capture pixels, and perform gesture-based attacks to subvert the Spixel's wishes! Watch as the Spixel taunts you by mimicking your own facial features! Answer the Spixel's interrogations with natural speech, or lose your pixels forever!
The Spixel must be stopped, or else your XBox will never be the same again!

P.S. (Not part of competition entry) I've actually written a very early prototype of this game for PC, with the pixels losing independence as their pathfinding routines require more and more CPU time. The more maze-like environment you can draw, or the more frequently you force the pixels to change their routes, the faster the Spixel loses control. It's really quite fun, and I think it would work pretty well with motion control instead of mouse and keyboard.
