Just saw this and thought it was pretty interesting. Wasn't expecting a boxed release of these.

Costs $32 from CDWOW with free delivery.

So anyone that was waiting for a box release of the DLC before buying it, here is your chance.

(Sorry if this is old news but I only just found out about it :P)

Mothership Zeta? Out at the end of this month I believe, I thought it sounded kinda cool, but I can see where you are coming from and that it doesn't really fit the rest of the game.

How does it NOT fit into the game? Did you not find the Alien crash site west of Greener Pastures Disposal site? You even pick up a radio signal coming from the ship, which is most likely sending a distress call to its home. Elsewhere in the game you can also get the event of something exploding above you (perhaps another recon ship) and the Firelance alien-blaster with ammo can be found on the ground.

In Mothership Zeta the aliens have returned and they are not happy. The mothership answers the distress call sent out by the alien ship at the Alien Crash Site and abducts the player, making the whole add-on take place on board of the alien ship.

There has been instances of Aliens involved in nearly all the Fallout games so I can't see how it doesn't fit in the current version. I'm looking forward to it as I am hoping it will be a very good addition to the current collection of DLC.

Fair enough about the aliens then, I didn't realise they were a part of Fallout 1 and 2, never really got into those games myself. I did find the alien crash site and the blaster, but did not know about the signal nor of the event where something explodes above you. I guess after looking at it a bit more it fits in better than I originally thought, but I still find it an odd addition compared to the other DLC's that were released :P
