I reckon finish Broken Steel. That way you can resolve one storyline, get some closure and move onto another ;)

Some quick screenies:

I'M ON A BOAT, I'M ON A BOAT, TAKE A GOOD HARD LOOK AT THE MOTHERF%$KING BOAT

I think I've found just about everything at Point Lookout so far - well almost - there was something new over near the bog that I thought I would find later. This is a really nice addition to the game. Well worth it.

Just want to add it is also the only DLC so far that made me feel like I did whilst playing it the first time. eg Trying to complete a task and while in the middle of it spotting something else and investigating that and then while being there, seeing something else in the distance and finding yet another quest to complete. :58_41:

Just finished Point Lookout, definitely the best designed DLC so far, though some of the quests leave a bit to be desired. I love how it's still an open ended level like the Capital Wasteland and not as linear as the previous DLC.

Also, I have to admit that given I'm a Level 30 character (even before starting Point Lookout) some of the shine in gameplay does seem to have been taken off a bit.

Incidentally, I think I found the best way so far to remedy the random freezing, by editing the Fallout.ini file and restricting the game to using only 2 cores, rather than my full quad core processor. Seems like the game has a problem with multi-core processors.

Haven't played much of it so far, (crashed on me) but it looks quite interesting. Might get me back into the spirit of playing the game since i've had a pretty long break from it.

Will have to check this one out, it looks to be the most interesting DLC yet. I hope they do more.

Well there is still "Mothership Zeta" to come. That's due at the end of next month. That's when the aliens come.

Ah, I didn't realise this was out yet. I'll need to get it.

DO WANT. I'm really looking forward to Mothership Zeta, I hope it doesn't disappoint. I need more alien ammo, the alien gun crits so well.

Pfft. The alien gun is such a over-powered cheat weapon :) I only use it when I want to kill the big boys like Behemoths, Overlords or Deathclaws quickly.

If you have the right perks and equipment maximising your AP then the Gauss gun from Anchorage DLC is not only effective but a lot of fun killing those bigger characters in the wasteland. Especially the Behemoths!

I take great pleasure in blasting out his legs as he comes running towards me and putting a second shot into his chest. The first shot throws him up into the air and the second shot sends him flying away. Rinse and repeat, you almost feel sorry for him... almost. (I just wish there were more of them as it can be so much fun! :58_80:

I've actually restarted and gone through as an unarmed specialist (deathclaw gauntlet ftw).

Paralyzing palm is very hilarious when you drop a behemoth with a "love tap"
then proceed to rip the frozen body to shreds
Not to mention the joy of planting live grenades onto raiders who have upset me... "If you're paralyzed you're not stopping me!"

Oh yeah, I highly recommend not doing what I did and goto Point lookout at level 13... does...not....scale....down..

I think there's some sort of Xbox live type site for windows games. admin edit: removed.
