It seems like sometimes, the best thing about commercially released games is that they make really great bases for mods to be developed from. Such is the case with Eve of Destruction - who took Battlefield 2, and made it into a "tribute to the US, ARVN and Vietcong/NVA soldiers", as well as the Vietnamese people who died as a result of the conflicts in the late 20th Century.
They've just released the full client, v1.1, and it's definitely worth checking out. The download is sizeable, clocking in at just over a gigabyte, and there's no incremental, sorry. That said, the changelog is pretty impressive and really improves gameplay.
