The Edon Harbringer is pleased to announce the succesful completion of the world's largest ginger bread man, by noted pastry chef, Ghudy Gess.
Using a combination of materials, including the special binding agent from Griffon yokes, Ghudy was able to produce a 90' tall gingerbread man. The giant pastry was then baked over hot coals, until it was a lovely golden brown. Difficulties in removing the pasty from its giant sized pan, where solved by Cezare Silverpalms, who used a potion to temporarily animate the 40 tons of flour, eggs and milk.
The sight of a 90" tall magically animated Gingerbread man, towering over the remote part of Lanloch, will be one never likely to be seen again. Once the witnesses had been satsified as to the success of the record attempt, Cezarre was seen to force a large superlative diamond into the Gingerbread man's mouth. While no on was certain as to what exactly happened, it then seemed as if the gem tried to consume the Gingerbread man, as enormous bite sized pieces were seen to dissapear from the Gingerbread man's body. Ultimately the Gingerbread man proved too much for what ever had possessed the gem to swallow and the gem was seen to shatter.
Cezare was unable (or unwilling) to explain what had happened nor could he explain the large numbers of flying insects seemingly released when the gem shattered.
