Wyld's works fine however.

I'm running Adblock and all is good though. (Chrome).

Did Wyld make one for Firefox? My previous "make this website not garish and blinding" installation is what is causing the issue here :/

It works on both, but limited on FF because of the specificity of selectors. It needs tweaking, but I haven't had time to help out Wyld with it, and I don't think he's had time either. (yes, I have my fingers in everyone's CSS and JS :P )

edit: where is the large img etc key now?

Large image tags aren't needed (though if you want, you can type em in anyway), as some JS takes care of the images now.

I've installed the latest version of Opera, and I'm not getting the issue you're having. Can you check your version and update?

I get the same thing with IE9. It blocks the news item on the main page and is way too big for the page. It stays there, even if you click and go to a news item. I have no IE addons and have deleted cache.

I just whitelisted GoN in adblock, the ads don't bother me really. They're not flashy or annoying so it's fine. :)

I actually just tried disabling adblock just then and I feel it's an improvement with all the darkness added :P , middle section still a bit too bright but it is better lol.

Not the adds, the big grey Quicklinks/Followus/Affiliations/About bar (© 2012 iiNet Limited) across the screen, that will not go away, as per the picture posted. This only just started happening and the bar stays, even if you go into a news article. I noticed videos in news articles overlay the bar, but everything else is hidden under the bar.

The bar stays at the bottom of the page in the forum and you need to scroll down to see the bar in the forum. So forum is working fine, just news portal is a bit off.

Try emptying your cache, I'm not seeing the issue on IE9 here (which is what I expected because I gave Cas & Tim the fix yesterday afternoon, and it was implemented then too!)
