An important point is that I didn't used to have to make bookmarks etc for easy access to an article, yes it's useful for the end user who does happen to use this stuff but I disagree with designing the site with the expectation that this is what the user will do. I don't get why I should be using 3rd party programs to keep track of stuff I could easily do within the site itself before. And those side things are helpful for casual glances at what happens to be active but not if you're looking for something specific.
But watevs I don't care. I've conceded to the fact that whatever happens, happens.

At a guess, and it is purely a guess based on what I can see is the 'exact post' that it links to, is in a forum area you cannot see (ie Deleted as it was posted by a bot). Where as the thread itself is still in the correct area, it is just that post you cannot access.
