I've got to say, I'm a bit of a fan actually - and I don't like change at the best of times! Great work guys and gals, just give me an option to hide the top of the page and view the forum first go and I'll be happy :D

Yeah the top of the page takes up almost half the screen! The other thing, there is so much space on each side of the forum now, all content is so thin in the middle. Other than that I love the colours & feel of the place, well done!

The width of the forum is fine (at least on my work PC), but every time I open a page.. all I can see is the top part of the page and thats it, without scrolling down you wouldn't even know you were on a forum:

With some luck I might be able to ad block it out at home.

Edit: It also doesn't shrink images the way it used to apparently, lol.

TAKE IT BACK I'M SCARED OF CHANGE!

On a serious note, the site is looking great. I actually really like the news system now and it seems there's going to be a lot less redundant forum sections. But who decided to make SPAM into The Water Cooler? Took me like a good, 10-15 seconds to find.

GoN's diet has made it anorexic. And the Game Servers page isn't yet working. Other than that, I welcome the change! :D

Hmm it may be the colours / background image that makes it seem thinner who knows. In Firefox & Chrome everything looks fine, in IE I opened up & get the same problem you are with the screen being filled.

The new look is great but there are some criticisms:
-The File Library is just a long list now, I liked how it was sorted into categories before
-Everything is massive. The news articles, forum and banners are big and cluttered. Also there's a lot of scrolling until you reach the end of the front page. The spotlight/slideshow showing articles is great though.
-Game Servers page isn't working for me but the error page is awesome.

Other than these gripes it's a nice improvement.

Hate it. A condensed version from my statement in the 'news article comments section' is that there's wasted space everywhere (you 'upgrade' the site and don't have it widescreen based? for real?), you've removed news articles from the forum effectively killing news article discussion, the forums themselves look terrible and are extremely cluttered visually and are hard to navigate. Plus it doesn't even look that nice either.

It's essentially a site that has been copied from a hundred other sites without realizing those other sites weren't actually that good in the first place.

The ONLY improvement is to the news 'squares' themselves on the main page being more readable, everything else has been messed up completely.
*Insert negative stuff here.*

Definately liking the new look and feel. Only negative I've found so far is there is no direct way to view new posts from the home page (unless I've missed it).

Great work guys and girls!

Also.. how do you know if you have a PM these days? I can't see anything..

Also a bit sad to see that the same old emoticons are still here.. seems a bit sad to overhaul the whole site but leave us with the el crapo emoticons!
