shipping from the U.S. (rent-a-warehouse thing)

So I want stuffs from the U.S. from ebay likely.

I wish them to send here, to me. Do not want to pay 30xPurchase price for sending.


Someone (iirc, from these forums) had mentioned they utilised a rent-address over there, where you ship all your stuff to that warehouse, they unbox and repackage the stuffs and send to you later....


Elaborate, suggest and otherwise tell me if you use it, how you use it and if you currently have one set up, if I may use it.

And for the curious - I'm purchasing a **** of bowties. (then possibly some other stuff.)

I've used shipito.com several times, they give you the option to have the item shipped to warehouses in different states (good for avoiding local laws), and then photograph the item and offer you a few methods of shipping once it arrives in their warehouse.

They aren't cheap, but I think it's reasonable and it is good service. TNT International Express will have an item to your door in like 4 days, it's pheonominal.

Registration on the site is easy, you pay a $10 deposit, then when your item arrives you choose X shipping method for $X, then you pay the remainder, and the post it. It's pretty much a pay as you use it process.

Quite a few of my friends have recommended http://www.priceusa.com.au, who seem to have no extra costs - just what it costs for the item and shipping.
