Love small pizzeria stores. :D

Where's that from?

if you're from Cairns.. it's Joes @ Edmonton.
pricey, but well worth it imo.

Price doesn't matter so much, I'm after a decent pizza replacement since the staff at Troppos are rude as hell now.

yeah we;ve found that on occasion too. we've spent years trying all different places around Cairns and finally found this place who seem decent. base wasnt soggy or oily as **** either, im not even sure they use oil to grease the pans, was more flour maybe.. but it's good to bite into pizza like that and not have the base flop over the place and topping slide off.

Wandered into JB Hi-five yesterday on the odd chance they may have a good deal on a game.
20% discount, but nothing much on the shelves in the way of a bargain.
Lets look in the boxes below - Hey! Whats this ?
:dropmouth: . Picks self up off the floor.
The Witcher 2 v2 for only $24- ? Reads price again... Walks out of JB with The Witcher 2 for $19.25 . Happy birthday to me... :yeah:

For a really great Pizza - Nevana makes the best base, imo (cooler at Wollies). First - Leggo's Pizza sauce, and your choice of toppings - Champignons , capsicum, black olives, a couple of dollops of pesto and sun-dried tomato bits. Then cheese, followed by peperoni, onion and pineapple bits.
The vegies go under the cheese to keep from oc'ing. Bake @200C for 10 min...mmmmm

gotta be careful when you throw the term "best" around, I know for a fact that no pre-bought base from Woolies is gonna beat home-made dough in a wood-fired oven.

just sayin :P

if you want THE best pizzas I've ever encountered you've gotta go to Good Life.

@ diamondd - Well, OK - sure. Got me...
Just comparing one 'fast' version with another, and Nevana is the one I prefer from the market. Even if it is rectangular.
I could make a nice crust too (worked in a pizza restaurant as a kid), but I'm already so retentive at covering the base it takes
me about 15min just to assemble the store bought (not including slicing and dicing).
Leggo's sauce is a compromise too, but it's pretty good stuff.
What I haven't found in Oz yet is a really good peperoni with lots of peppercorn.

Wood oven at home - out of the equation.

EDIT: Pizza can be healthy. Vegies - tomato sauce, not too much cheese. Only down side is the peperoni and home brew .

Where'd you buy yours? I bought mine from EB. Mine also arrived last week and I've noticed a marked difference in positional audio compared to the Creative Fatal1ty headset it replaced.

How are you guys finding the 7.1 Tiamats? I'm half thinking about replacing my EarForce Bravo headset with a 2.1 Tiamat set, not sure I'd be willing to spend almost twice as much on surround headphones though.
