This is what me and my brother got when we went to Game today (VGA cables from JB). The Xbox also comes with a download copy of Gears of War 2 and 5 XBLA games. The xbox seemed like an epic deal ($449 down to $329) until I saw JB had the same thing plus a HDMI cable and a black headset (shouldn't the Xbox come with one anyway by default?) for $20 more. Is JB always that cheap or are they just price matching Game as they try to get rid of the last of their stock?



Sadly they had no PS3's which I wanted to get (and only a single, pink 3DS) but again JB had a deal for practically the same thing just as cheap.

It's such **** that neither PS3 or Xbox 360 come with any sort of cable that lets you output an HD image.

I didn't realise that, what a rip off... I can't believe a 360 still costs over $300 either, stuff that.

picked up front mission evolved from game, and caved and got the sims for the GF, something about knights and pirates or something.. oh well, it will keep her of pokemons for a bit and also something to do over her break...

I must not realize how old these consoles really are then because even for EOFY sale I wouldn't think PS3's would be this cheap. :S

I guess since they're actually advertising it that means they'll actually have good stock of them?

Not anymore, my Elite 360 only came with composite cables, same with my Slim PS3. Doubt it's changed with the 360S.

That's a nice price for the PS3!
