Locks up in the exact same spot every time.

There was a patch out today, if you haven't tried today yet.

MP3 Patch wrote:Audio Crash
-Fixed reported issues of audio dropouts when no audio device was plugged in, or when the headphones/speakers disconnected while in game.

Mouse Sensitivity
-Fixed reported issues of mouse being sluggish, especially in prone and Shootdodge™. Increased top end range of mouse sensitivity, but kept the slider from 1-10, allowing the user more range in their sensitivity setting.

Mouse Acceleration
-Fixed reported issues of mouse acceleration affecting aiming, included commandline option to disable mouse acceleration, -nomouseaccel (In a future update, this will be added as an option in the Mouse Controls menu).

Stretched Image / Wrong Aspect Ratio

Fixed reported issues of game locked in incorrect aspect ratio, or alt-entering and having incorrect aspect ratio. Added commandline option for locked aspect ratio as commandline option -aspectratio width:height (ie. -aspectratio 4:3 / -aspectratio 16:9) In a future update, this will be added as an option in the Graphics menu.

Video Memory Reporting as 0MB

Fixed reported issues of the video card reporting having 0MB of video memory available. Users unable to adjust Graphics options because of this (Also helps fix stuttering on some video cards).

Just finished playing this today. It had an overall feeling of "good" with moments of brilliance. It felt somewhat removed from Max Payne 1 & 2 with the reliance on cover-based gameplay. Remember how in the first two you would turn on bullet time, run into a crowded room and just go ballistic? Well I don't think I did that once in Max Payne 3. The graphics and level design were not surprisingly gorgeous as per the screenshots posted here.

But the over-use of blurring to provide some 'artistic' effect really stymied the game.

Yeah I liked the first 2 Max Paynes for the bullet time and dodge bullet, at times in this I forget to use it as I'm just too busy shooting anything that moves, even shot the hostage on the boat with my magnum oh well it was a head shot she died quickly, and so did the mission.

Seems to use a lot of movie work you need to keep on the ball to know when the game is going to let you have a go, I just watch for a cross hair or my health meter to popup. :)

these are the settings I'm running Ralph the graphics were really poor until I turned Tessellation to it's highest setting and WOW what a huge difference it makes, if you don't have it set to a highish level do it and go back in and have a look it's awesome.

My settings.

Anyone trying to replay the game and noticing the grinds aren't saving? I've tried running the game in administrator mode and setting the profile in windows to 'read only' but it's still not saving my grinds.
