Yep... smithy has made it across from 3FL and back to GON!

I previously introduced myself on these forums back in Feb 2011, when I joined after playing your servers for a while.
But heres another short intro (and yeah if this is my short intro, you gotta see my long intro!):

I'm a long time CS player (started 11-12yrs back), you will see me on your GON and 3FL CS:S servers under the same alias. I have been known as "@gent-$mithy" for the past 11yrs or so in the gaming world and often people ask - are you that same dude from GameSpace or Ozforces and im like - hell yeah! So if you recognise the Atgent hyphen dollarmithy name - its me!

My gaming history:
* I was a CS admin at an old gaming comunity called OzForces back in the early 2000's with a great bunch of people. We had some kicking servers and a great online community. Then ozforces closed down and i joined GameSpace.

* I was a Network admin (game admin on all gaming servers) for GameSpace run by the NetSpace ISP and I eventually became a staff member running a Counter Strike online game school. This was heaps fun, I got paid to teach people how to play CS and ran classes for newbies, all the way up to competitive clans giving some 'war' strategies that I picked up from my old lanning days at sydney lan parties. We even had an article in the Sydney Morning Herald about the gameschool! GameSpace was awesome - fantastic community and quality servers. Then it closed down as Netspace was consumed by 3FL,

* So then i joined the 3FL community. I was more of a talker and doer on the servers than the forums, but i did have fun on the forums too. I again became a CS:S and TF2 game admin and helped to ban many hackers on our servers as well as provide guidance to other people and other admins. I pretty much always have my steam friends list open 24/7, so ppl message me when hackers join the 3FL servers and then I come in and ban them. While i am not at my desk all the time - as i do actually have a proper job now, i do what I can.

* And now here i am back on GON. I joined GON in 2011 after I came across your CS:S servers. They had great ping, lots of active users and people in there seemed really nice. As I became more active in 3FL i tended to play there servers more often when they had players on them as I am loyal to the network that I am an admin for. Now I guess you will see more of me on your GON servers.

I normally game a few afternoons/evenings during the week and then more on the weekends. I generally play CS:S and TF2 only but am starting to get into BF3 too.

In the real world - I work in IT and am getting married at the end of this year! And yes I did take the blue pill... At least i think it was the blue one!!

Looking forward to seeing you guys around on the servers sometime!

P.s you can call all call me Smithy for short.
