I have the same monitor too and i love it. Its a great build quality, good performance and just looks that little bit different to everything else on the market.

Im seriously considering buying a second one.

I've had the 27" version for a few weeks now... it's bloody great

I've had one for about a year and it hasn't missed a beat, great monitor; and was a good pic you posted the other week really shows how reflective they are. you guys will have great fun with that sammy.

that was my thought a few months ago but then I heard a rumour about a 2560x1440 version later this year so I might wait.

That's what I'm waiting for, 1920x1080 expanded on 27's is just too big.

How much is the "24 version? (also whats the actual model?)

I have the Syncmaster SA950D 23" version. I picked mine up for about $350 about a year ago, they may be a bit cheaper now.

I think that is the only model in the 23" range. This look doesn't come in a 24".

If you wanted 27" there are two models at the moment SA950D 27" or TA950 (also labelled as T27A950)

They are all a little bit more expensive than comparable models in their respective ranges, but they look sweet and you wont be sorry.

lol, personally ive had a 27" monitor, and im far happier with my 23" or 24". It feels like the sweet spot for me - espically due to the position of my desk etc.

I dont know, each to their own i guess, but i dont have a need for some super-mega-huge-in-your-face monitor (or TV as a monitor for that matter).

I <3 my 27" Asus, it's awesome! I used I run that and a 24" but the mrs made me get rid of the 24" lol
