Show Us Your Latest Purchase - April 2012

Unread postby Cas Bitton » 2 Apr 12, 11:09 am

Hello and welcome to the revised latest purchase topic you all know and love!

I'd recommend uploading it to a hosting site such as http://imgur.com, http://imageshack.us and http://tinypic.com, these are all easy and straight forward, or use another if you dislike those suggestions :).

Be honest, your phone probably has a camera. It's not hard to do the right thing :icon14:

If you spot that I'm missing a month and you can supply me with a link, please send me a PM anytime and I'll update the current monthly topic with the details :icon14:

And here we go!

Picked it up yesterday from JBHifi, damn what a fine price

Went to the DSE sale. Walked straight in, second in line, asked for a 360, but the one guy in front bought the last 3 they had :|
I did get a bunch of other stuff cheap though, so I'm not really complaining :P

Image
PlayStation 3 320GB - $199
Turtle Beach Ear Force Bravo - $40 (down from $199)
Nintendo DSi - $20
Resident Evil 5 PC - $1

Will be good to have a new PS3 that doesn't turn into a jet in summer :D
The headphones aren't half bad either. Not music phones, but they'll be fantastic for games!

well it looks like I'm posting sans-pictures from now on.

just received a few of the watch bands I got to dress-down my favourite watch. Two nice leather ones and a black NATO to try out. Not sure if I'm a fan of the NATO style tbh but the sporty leather bands are niiice.

Yeah I was surprised everyone could post the pictures but imo it added a lot to the threads. Having to do your own pictures with uploading and everything is too much work for most, I think these threads will suffer for it sadly but I assume there's a legal reason so there's no avoiding it. :(

The other day in an EB buy one get one free deal my brother got the following.

CnC The First Decade
Age of Empires 3 Complete Edition
NFS Pack (included Underground 1/2 and Most Wanted)
CoH Anthology

So while some don't have a single PS3 you now have a 2nd unneeded one? I dislike you, catfish? >_< Which store did you get it from?

Got it from the Bunbury store.
Mine is somewhat needed, my current one goes into jet-plane mode in summer :P

[EDIT]
And this was in my mailbox when I got home tonight!

So why aren't we allowed to just link a picture any more? Is GoN worried about advertising via the pics?

Have had similar rules in other forums, part of it was that hotlinking images from elsewhere out of our control, the image the link points to can be changed to something unpleasant without you knowing.

I also prefer actual photographs, feels like a person gives a **** about their purchase rather than 'here's a lit of things I spent money on kbai'.

Also I realised I hadn't posted these either. Found them at Harvey Norman the other day.
