God of War 3. Combat was much improved from previous iterations, you could actually fight bigger bad guys with strategy now yay!

Though it felt like the overall number of combos had been lowered. Story was a bit 'eh' though, mostly just god killing and I hated the changes they did from the previous game with Athena and the Titans. Storywise I don't feel they knew what they wanted to do with it. It just didn't have that grand adventure feel to it like the previous games did and frankly the PS2 games felt bigger in scale (first time you see Ares, climbing Cronos's back, the two horse statues in GoW2 etc). Oh and the failed promise of epic scale battles, we got a grand total of two and that was it, what even happened to the Titans and the war? You were always stuck in small caves just about. :S
But regardless, still a pretty good game and I look forward to Ascension.
