MW3 Boycott: And This Time, I Mean It! edition

So, are you boycotting MW3 for the sake of good games past and previous?

MW3 Boycott: And This Time, I Mean It! edition

Unread postby Zombywolf » 21 Jun 11, 3:25 pm

Personally, I'm boycotting the hell out of MW3. I've always liked the CoD series, and got pretty good at MW1 online but...been easily avoiding them since MW2. What activision is doing is pretty awful. Not buying doesn't do much, but it's helping.

What do you intend to do?

Blops was the first CoD I ever played... It was also the last.

Been playing Battlefield since 1942 (teehee) and my undying love for Dice won't stop yet!

Same same.
BF2 is still the best game I have ever played and I've been gaming for more years than the majority of people on this forum have been alive. If BF3 is half as good then it will be a kick **** game.

Never bought a COD and don't plan on starting now. So I couldn't really say I'm boycotting it. I voted for candehs as usual..

ah, thats a shame...cods 1 and 2 were great, in their time. they made the period of ww2 shooters what it was (before what it is now :P) good atmosphere, good mechanics, great multiplayer. then things began to stagnate after the 5th installment of the franchise in 5 years...

Mw1 was great too. introduced some fresh ideas and actually had a compelling narrative for a shooter. Watch the Yahtzee review for a good idea of it. However, that began to smell up the place pretty soon too :P

Such a shame, really.

COD4 was the first and last COD game I bought/played. Not interested in it any more.

Definitely not a bad thing. But not innovating and giving your dedicated fan base more of the same garbage is an issue.

I have played them all bar the one that was only on PSX. They have been getting much better. MW3 looks awesome and it seems like it will be bigger in scale than prevoiusly.

Will definitely be getting it.

I'll buy BF3 and MW3 - I'll enjoy both, they both offer very different online experiences.

I played MW2, asked for a refund. I bought Black Ops because it was only 30 dollars for a digital copy.

I wont be buying MW3, at most I'll borrow it from a mate and play the campaign. I'm over CoD multiplayer
