Kept hearing things about specops:theline so i picked it up at eb for $25, give it a whirl when i can.... Also started dark souls on the ps3 once i broke it out of its special edition plastic... start is easier than demon souls, but picked a fight with the first guy after completing the intro.... sigh.... bad mistake...

I remember being quite surprised in Demon's Souls when if you don't beat the first boss you don't get a second go.

Depending on how attached you were to the Hub in Demon's, you've love the nature of Londor. After maybe 40 hours of play you can stand at Firelink Shrine and picture exactly where each area is from where you stand.

What do you mean by the first guy? The first guys you should be coming across once you get to Firelink are the hollow soldiers on the steps up the cliff towards the bridge and the Undead Burg.

If you mean the fat guy in the prison... that's the Asylum boss. Make sure to two-hand your weapon (triangle) and then drop from above and hit R1 in mid-air. When you land, change between two hand and one hand and either block his sweeps or roll (you are semi-invincible as you roll). When he draws his stick up he's going to bash the ground and stun you. Same if he goes to fly, he's going to drop and stun. With both of these attacks just back away and wait a second after the blast then run in and two-hand and always tried to get behind him.

I think he means the first time you find him. When you can just run past into the next room with a bonfire.

Actually the fist fat demon I came across I cheesed, used 3 of the fire bombs then just rolled and hit... compared to the first time you hit up phalanx in demon it was a cakewalk...

Guy I'm talking about is the guy that talks to you at the first bonfire after your trip with big bird... I should maybe stop attacking semi defenceless guys...

Alternately liking and hating Driver San Francisco.

Alternating between playing Guuld Wars and Guild Wars 2(one runs far better than the other on my laptop).

Also need to finish Dawnguard so I can start Hearthfire.

Reinstalled BF3 today, what a waste of download that was.. played for a few hours, nothing but choke points and base rape :?

Well, I'll leave it until AK comes out, and if it's as piss poor as CQ was, I'll uninstall it again.

Just tried to play Dead Space, about 5 minutes in a door "opens" but I can't walk through the open door because there's an invisble barrier still there. Googled my problem and the solution is apparently to turn off your v-sync settings in game and enable them in your graphics card control panel. WTF. Debating if it's worth my time trying to play it more if a bug that serious pops up that early.

I decided against getting the Trine collection. Nah, I felt spending the extra $1.35 for the Frozenbyte Complete Collection which includes the 3 Trine games plus an extra $17 worth of games in the 2 Shadowgrounds games was a better decision. Though I think my friend accidentallied the gift. I got the gift and accepted and the games are in my Library but in my Steam inventory it still had the games asking if I want to accept the gift, he may have accidentally bought the game a second time when he gifted me Borderlands 2 a few minutes later, I don't know and am afraid to do anything till he comes back online and I explain the situation.

Also I assume the expansion for Trine 2 and Shadowgrounds are a part of the games themselves as I don't have separate entries for either of them.

From memory both Shadowgrounds games list separately in your steam games and don't act as an expansion. I finished the 2nd one (survivor) which was reasonably fun.

Ok sorted it out (mostly). I hadn't actually accepted the gift yet* (thought I had) and Shadowgrounds Trine and Trine 2 were listed in the library for some reason. Shadowgrounds Survivor is now in the Library though the Trine 2 expansion is still not listed so hopefully it's just a part of Trine 2 like what I think the Magicka DLC is like. If someone can confirm that would be great.

*I found out by accepting the gift but putting it in my inventory instead of library, those 3 games then disappeared from the library confirming I hadn't actually accepted the gift yet.

I had the same issue. I was going to google a solution, but thought, **** it. Seriously, it has to be one of the most inane errors I've ever seen in game.

Yeah. The first one is a poor, arguably near unplayable and extremely fiddly port, but the game itself was pretty good. Just talking about it is making me wanna play it again.

Also the Trine 2 expansion is accessed through the main game so everything's good. ^_^
