I didn't think so. I really enjoyed the game, cutscenes and all. There are definitely alot of cutscenes and some that go for quite long but it didn't distract me or make me rage unlike some people.

Ungggg, TDU 2. Have clocked up 1200 kilometers so far with 5 houses and 9 cars (fastest is a Ferrari GTO with 700BHP). Have spent most of my time in free roam so am constantly scrabbling for money.

Just love a game that lets me cruise around an entire island, particularly one where the asphalt roads are from satellite images. Discovering all the roads is quite a challenge, I like to take the longest, straightest route possible then go back using the main map to explore the offshoots.

MP is still very much alive too, plenty of people racing about (although most of them like to instant challenge new players while the challenger is racing a fully-tuned A1 ride, ****). Casino is also lots of fun although not enough people are playing Poker so it's hard toget a game.

It's also goddamned hard to beat some of the license tests (particularly the longer courses in the B licenses {off-road}) but easy to beat the championships. Unsure what triggers the Cups though, I've won gold on 7 championships so far but no Cup has appeared. Google time.

Also interested in reinstalling Civ 5, the internet makes the game sound SO MUCH more fun than I find it to be... probably because I can't be arsed getting past the opening stages or really utilising the resources available (like I get stuck on making roads and get bored that turn after turn I have nothing to do).

Any suggestions of how to get into it?

Also, anyone still playing Blacklight? Thinking of using some TDU2 time tonight to test out the Australian servers.

Having a ball with Blacklight at the moment. Anyone else playing? Halfway through STALKER SoC as well - one of the best singleplayer experiences i've ever had. Had a twinge of sadness as i walked through garbage and realised that the guys i helped protect at the car yard were all dead from bandits. Also, running out of ammo in one of the laboratories filled with zombies, snorks and bloodsuckers. NOPE!

Yep, add DarkMellie to your Blacklight friends, absolutely love that game.

STALKER SoC is amazing, the entire series are among my favourite games ever. And I had the very same feeling, finding all their bodies later on.. was always going to happen, there's a constant bandit spawn nearby.

Have you tried the Complete Mod for SoC? Adds a lot of value and a wealth of changes (most you don't realise are even there but the whole game just runs 'better').

If you're playing with crosshairs on, you're playing it wrong. (Seriously, not just being elitist here. Some of the best blood-pumping I've had from any game is running out of bullets from my carefully aimed assault rifle, then whipping out a pistol of SMG and firing fildly as mutant gets all up in my face.)

And as mentioned, Complete mods kick up the graphics a LOT as well as ironing out bugs, without compromising the core game.

There's a HUGE mod scene for the STALKER games, with many GREAT total overhaul mods.

Will do mellie. And yeah I already have the complete mod installed, i only spent 5 mins in vanilla. I wandered into the scorcher with the downed heli before to avoid all the monolith. Was not an enjoyable 15mins...
