I'm slow, but I started playing Kerbal Space Program, oh the hilarity, really didn't expect to have this much fun building rockets and planes :D

Revengous, what makes the crystal cave so much fun?

Mak, I tried KSP but it was way too trial and error for me, couldn't be bothered putting in the time to refine my designs. How far has your rocket gone?

Started Witcher 2 in Dark. Quite an enjoyable level of difficulty as it makes me work for the kills. Not overswinging, rolling and clever juggling of tools and signs as well as (probably most importantly) positioning yourself all come into play.

Honestly a little bit readdicted to BF3 (on Xbox).

Also, a mate lent me Mortal Kombat, makes me wonder how I ever became such an original MK and Mk2 expert, it's so boring.

Have also checked out Minecraft in Xbox today, definitely has potential but world size is limited and there's no lasting server for your world so you can only play mutli at the same time as friends. Also, who can bothered wuth big constructions on twiddle sticks? Not me!

Rockets, not great, I can get into space reliably, but can't hit the moon yet. The game for me is more about planes at the moment, trying out different things, trying to make a plane that can get into space and back and land, rather a lot of fun.

Also just saw this trailer for Fall of Cybertron, only a CGI trailer, but still looks nice (DINOBOTS!) (Also makes me realize I've never played the first one, war for cybertron, which isn't available on AU steam for some reason, might have to import a copy as I always wanted to play it, but never have.

WfC was an outstanding game with a brilliantly fresh take on multiplayer. It sadly didn't last long online, even for Xbox.

yes KSP is tons of fun :D You really have a massive sense of achievement when you actually land on the Mun.. Getting back home is another thing entirely

Yeah, the PC version looks stunning now.

I'm still enjoying it on Xbox, but only because I'm; A. Lazy and B. Gamerscore.

Really enjoying Xbox on Minecraft, I really didn't think I would. Have levelled a hillside, built a nice glass houseand have a stupidly cavernous dungeon downstairs that I'm trying to locate a monster spawn in. Also have a nice farming operation going.

Watched a youtube vid of one guy's world and it was as intricate and red-stone powered as anything on GoN... and it's all just a little more impressive be ause there is no world-edit or spawning of resources.

Amg Metroplex.

First one was really fun, but I had to get a friend in the USA to gift it to me over Steam. Unless you are a big Transformers (specifically G1) it's probably just another TPS action game.

Yeah, pretty sure I've been fairly vocal about that in the past :P

I'm also meant to be one of our MC admins but my new bubba stands between me and my PC, hence why I'm loving hanging out with him while cranking Minecraft from the couch!

Just finished my Max Payne 2 replay, man they don't make games like this anymore which begs the question. WHY DON'T THEY MAKE GAMES LIKE THIS ANYMORE?!?!?! The variety in the different tasks you had to do throughout the game which gave a distraction from the pure shooting just doesn't happen anymore, it's sad, and the game in general just felt more 'pure' than any recent game i've played and the storeytelling, just such a good game.

Though in part I have come to see the traditional health pack health system as archaic. I had to replay a bit of the end level again because while I managed to get to the final boss alive I had little health and no painkillers which made the boss fight difficult somewhat. I don't think that's acceptable being forced to replay sections of the game you've already beat just to conserve your health for a later fight. Health regen is by no means perfect and my concern may not have been raised had they given me some painkillers right before that last fight but still, it wasn't fun replaying stuff I had already beaten for something as trivial as making sure I don't use all my painkillers (and some of those fights were hard, particularly the wheelchair lift, so easy to take damage).
*Insert negative stuff here.*
