Titan Quest is a pretty awesome game. I want them to make a sequel. But since I know that they wont, I want to play a similar game. So, my question is; What is the closest game to titan quest in terms of its leveling system?

I loved TQ. Have you played the expansion (Immortal Throne) cause that's pretty awesome. You could also play through TQ again with a diff char, and add some mods like the x5 monster mod like i did.
Other games i have played similar (with multiplayer - cause there are a heap of arpgs that aren't multi) are: Isometric/Top down-Sacred 2, Neverwinter Nights 2, Silverfall. 3rd person-LOTR:WiTN and D&D Daggerdale.
I would say they all have a similar leveling system, but I'm not really sure what you mean by that, so this post may be of no use to you :D
P.S Grim Dawn is (apparently) still being made, which is the spiritual successor to TQ (same engine, same guys who made TQ) http://grimdawn.com/. And you will be able to play Diablo 3 and Torchlight 2 this year which are also the same genre. Path of Exile and Sacred 3 might come out this year as well.

lol yeah. I've got 195 hours in Immortal Throne so i have many characters and ive messed around with mods a bit. Thanks for reminding me about Grim Dawn (I had totally forgotten about it), sacred 2 felt like a massive grind (it probably would have worked well as an MMO) and as for the other games, I just looked into them so I might end up getting 1 or 2. ty

Titan Quest was fun but insanely repetitive. It's one of the few games that I felt was too long, I only got as far as killing the Telkin and then I was pretty much finished with it. Had no desire to keep playing as it felt like that should have been the end of the game rather than the half way point.

Anyone watching those Developer Series videos for Max Payne 3? That last video about the cinematics got me pretty excited, mostly because most of the footage actually looked like a Max Payne game. The bald guy was in very few shots in that video.

I get a bit confused between TQ and TQIM... what's the difference (as they appear to be the same game).

I've been playing DoW2 again, determined to finish the campaign and maybe even get in some multi. Good fun.

Do you mean Immortal Throne? It's the expansion pack to Titan Quest.

TQIM = Immortal Throne

When I start it up, it's exactly the same story and opening quests, unless I'm doing it wrong.

You must be. I can't really help though as I've never played it, only loaded it up once and there was a different menu screen but that's all I can really say.

It's definitely a style of gameplay I enjoy.. once I polish of DoW2 and Chaos Rising I might go back and play some more. Ienjoy TQ more than Torchlight.

FFFFFFFFFFFF. Brother bought GTA4 Complete for PC but only just then did I check to see what DRM is on it. GTA4 is ok but Episodes has an installation limit. -_-

He also got Bully.

*cries*

I thought gamearena was unmetered. :( Downloading the Fakefactory mod for HL2 as GON doesn't have it anymore and it seems to be counting towards the quota. All 8 gigs. D: No point cancelling now but i'll have to be careful for the rest of the month. :(

Immortal Throne is exactly the same at Lord of Destruction for D2 - it adds an extra chapter at the end and some new stuff (including classes) to the main game.

So what you're saying is that when I started Titan Quest I should have ignored the vanilla game and just jumped into Immortal Throne?
