Good luck finding an apartment. I've seriously considered selling up and moving to an apartment in South Perth but I really want a dog and think sticking one in an apartment is a bit unfair. Mind you having a good sized backyard is driving me crazy as I'm not a gardening person. What happens when a guy gets a cat? Is that considered cute or weird?
Thanks! I'm having great fun hunting. Although I'm still trying to get the location decided. I want Mt Lawley, but the half near the city so I can get on the NBN in 3 years and socialise heaps! but apartments aren't much for sale there (hopefully once the house sale goes through, there will be the perfect place
). Choice number two is Vic Park, there is this awesome one up for sale but it's going to be two months before I can lay an offer down so it will probably be gone by then
I want a dog too, a little one like a beagle or a pug. If I got a ground floor with some sort of courtyard, I might consider one but I am looking top floor. I just can't do dog in apartment either, I feel guilty enough making my cat an indoor cat (not that I am anti-outdoor cat, just I know my neighbourhood is if you get what I mean).
Yeah, I am going apartment because I want to be more central, because I don't need a lot of space and because I don't do gardening (I kill everything). We brought this big house 4 years ago and the backyard is still a sand pit! I did have plans for this awesome courtyard because I love gardens, I just can't garden. I'll probably put some plants on my balcony (because I love being outside) and have a couple indoor ones but... well... they will die.
Guy having a cat? Totally awesome in my book
I like people with pets whether they are cat, dog, bird anything else. I always feared going a little particular living by myself with a cat but I think animals help you keep sane and offer something that for many people is hard to find. I would go truly crazy on my own but I am not exactly great at living with other people (I need space)
I did know a Crazy Cat Guy once though, he only had one cat and called it his bro. He lived in Brisbane and wouldn't accept my offer to come visit me 'because he couldn't leave his cat'. Or maybe he was just saying that
