...but could someone run me through the steps to play AF? I've downloaded it, installed it, do I just open the normal Battlefield 2 up and look for an AF server? I'm sorry, but I've only recently gotten into PC games and I'm quite a noob in the modding side of things..

The mod looks so awesome, I'm angry that I don't know how to get to playing because I really want to!!!

load up bf2,login then go to the "community" button,then select bf2aus and hit activavte.
then once its loaded go to single player or multiplayer,if multiplayer in the server type in box type in "internode" and make sure the "same mod" box is checked in the server options.theres stuff all peeps playing the mod so your best off to just play singleplayer.

Legend.. had a quick look at the multiplayer server (I have a... fear.. of going into single ) and it looks damn nice - congratulations!

New 1.01 release coming soon... player numbers will either pickup, or put the final nail in the coffin for the mod. Sadly I think it will be the later.

Okay, here's how it goes, I've got a patched version (to 1.41 but the version no in BF2 says 1.1.2963-795.0) of BF2 which is my mates copy with his key. AS far as I know he can play online so I guess I can't. But i've got AusForces 1.0 and the Internode AusForces server writing is in red and it says I don't have same version as server?

I luv the idea of Aus forces in BF2. Such a shame it cant be ranked, thats where the prob lies. Player base. Don't think nobody cares about it.
