Not too much to be excited about, mainly tweaks... no new Australian maps or weapons/vehicles. This should have probably been released a month after 1.0 came out.

There will be minimal testing, and will be released in due course.

Good point. Forgot about that one.

Patch won't be going out this weekend, so maybe Beex will read this and let me know how to fix it if it is just a problem with the exit point in the tweak.

BF2AUS 1.01 will hopefully go out sometime this week - everything is done bar a couple of small problems with some sounds. Will also look into this F111 exit issue.

Lol yeah. You try and eject as a co-pilot in the F111 and get killed instantly. Unsure about ejecting as a pilot, I think that may be fine. I rarely fly, but I've spawned in the f111 a few times in MP and you have to wait until you crash or get shotdown to get out, otherwise you die. :P

The exit point hopefully just needs lowering... maybe the player hits on the bay doors or something. I doubt the speed of the plane has anything to do with it.

Fire through a fix if you have it... just playing around with trying to fix up this stupud Carl Gustav sound. Tempted to just take it out all together. :(

still no luck with the CG sound...hmmmmmmmm?
check that the sound isnt some how linked to an effect,cuz some weapons use the timing of the effect instead of a fire sound in the weapon tweak itself.

I think I've sorted out the 1.01 release as of tonight. Going to do some more testing, but it is almost certain to go to Internode and other gaming sites for mirroring before Friday.

Server File: bf2aus_1.01_server.zip - ~146MB
Client File: bf2aus_1.01.exe - ~512MB

There will be no 1.0 > 1.01 patch - it's a full release. Despite the fact the changelog doesn't look that impressive, there has been a lot of repackaging of maps and restructuring/cleaning of files etc, so I patch would have been almost as large as the full client release. Plus patch files are notoriously dodgy when it comes to mods...

PS: Depending on the public response to the 1.01 release, I have a surprise of sorts up my sleeve. Needs a bit more work and I'm struggling to find the motivation to finish it at the moment.
