For example, Australia being set on gravel by default can now been changed to tarmac,

awesome stuff mate. Glad to see it simplified for when I give it a go.

Ha, exactly! I had a go of Australia last night using the tarmac surface option, and it was fantastic!

Btw, is a couple of things I need to correct (and add) in the RSRBR guide, but as my net is down and I am connected by tethering my phone, I will do it at another time.

Installing RBR on my laptop for lols seeing as I may never get on my main PC again.

Should be interesting.. if it's unplayable on keyboard it will have to be my xbox controller.

EDIT: am following your instructions. When I extract Camhack and go to run it the first time, it comes up with a system error "The program can't start because dx8vb.dll is missing from your computer".

Any ideas?

I'm still without net here and tethering my phone (which is a slow connection) so am a bit limited here at moment, but no mate I haven't come across that problem before with camhack.

I am running it under WinXP and being older software maybe it is a file I have by default in XP. I will see if I can find that file, or find why it is doing that. (Btw I discovered RSRBR comes with Camhack as well)

That post for a similar problem is interesting. I will see if I can grab the file off my WinXP OS for you.

EDIT - download from my dropbox, and maybe follow the advice in the post I linked (and read down that page) - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/53572158/dx8vb.dll

Get a black screen now when trying to use RSRBR2012. Sound works and I can here the menu sounds, but have nothing on the screen.

EDIT: Got it. Installing RSRBR2012 changed my res. Had to change the ini file to get it back again.

Finally managed to get RBR. Installed 'RSRBR 2012 Base Content' fine, but got to the updates:

RSRBR Required 2012 Updates
- Update 1 >>DOWNLOAD<< (66mb)
- Update 2 >>DOWNLOAD<< (11.6mb)
- Update 3 >>DOWNLOAD<< (66.6mb)
- Update 4 >>DOWNLOAD<< (207mb)

& get a message in command window about 'program to big for memory' (I tried all 4 updates, same thing each time). I think one of my emulators for DOS based games is kicking in & messing things up :( will see if I can temporarily disable it & keep trying.

System specs (just in case) Win7 (32bit):

I haven't found a way to manually extract the files from the EXEs either :(
