Yeah, slow-in, fast-out really picked up my laptimes in iRacing too. Rally does need to maintain a certain speed however in order to powerslide and so on so a bit of pressure is always good.

G27 :(

Unless there is a way you can turn them into a sequential shifter.

Neg, just choose one of the gear slots for it.

I agree. I have a G25 and I have never put mine into sequential for the handbrake. Never thought of it actually LOL

I use 4th when I have it on my left, 2nd when it is on my right for some reason.

Yeah i'm amazed at how good international post is! :D. Typically I can get something like a usb cable delivered from Hong Kong in 2-3 days. But from sydney....it might take a week :/

So going by the sticker on it, does that mean it will/should work on Win 7 out of the box?

Speedy delivery.

Mostly from Ebay yes, though as 'Mellie pointed out earlier in the thread, a legit downloadable purchase is now an option too. This game is still hugely popular with the sim racing communities, so it's a good idea for them to keep it available.

and btw..

WHAT GIVES GUYS?

Cas has the game there for you to win, and no one has done anything at all to try and win it yet? I added two silly things in the thread to try and kickstart it with a low bar set, but I have no aim to win it as I already own the game (Thanks to my jumping excitedly at 'Mellies link)

You are missing out on a great game if you don't put your bit in there to try and claim a copy!

I'm going to scrap the entry mechanic entirely and just PM a few people. Kudos to them in advance :)

Yeah I guess it is that age old saying, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. Haha, oh well :)

EDIT - And kudos to Cas for doing something so selfless for the racing guys :) congrats whoever gets a copy (I will probably write up a guide soon on how to setup RBR correctly for widescreen and FFB Etc)

It would be great to see a new topic that covers RBR from install, FFB fixes, installing mods etc from the start.

I've got a feeling a few people are going to really need the info in the next few days/weeks :icon14:
